We embrace a student-centered approach, tailoring our instruction to meet the unique needs and interests of each child. Arkansas City Public Schools is beginning a strategic planning process and wants input from students, staff, families, and community members. Complete the survey by Sept. 18 to help shape future priorities and goals for USD 470.

All USD 470 students can receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day. Families are also encouraged to complete the Home Economic Survey, which helps the district qualify for funding and plan for student and family needs.

Ark City voters will decide the future of local schools on Nov. 4, 2025. Two proposed bond measures would improve safety, modernize learning spaces, and expand early childhood education across USD 470. State aid is expected to cover 30% of the principal and interest costs. Proposition 1 includes Arkansas City Middle School additions and districtwide upgrades.
